A year after winning his first gold medal for mens basketball in Asia, Kobe Bryant is back in Asia again to promote his new shoe, the Nike Dream Season. Rightfully named, the Nike Dream Season is made for outdoor basketball, where hundreds of thousands of kids in Asia hone their skills. The event pictured was hosted at Taiwan’s National University, where Kobe did a question and answer interview, took pictures with and signed autographs for fans, and even played a little basketball himself in front of a huge audience.

Nike has done it again for this fall 09 release of the Halloween edition Air Force 1. Unlike the previous 2 versions, which was done in all patent leather, this version features a pony hair material throughout the uppers and even midsoles and resembles the monster character Gossamer from the Bugs Bunny cartoons. It’s nickname “savage beast” is written across the hell tab on the back of the shoe. Expect these to drop around Halloween time this fall.

Seems like Jordan Brand is banking on their success of the Air Jordan 1 Retro for the past year and will continue to do for 2010. This particular pair looks to be made out of a waxed leather upper with perforated toe and panel to give it a grungy look. It is highlighted with a dash of cerulean blue to give it a pop. Pictures of these Air Jordan XI “White on White” collection have surfaced on sneakerobsession.com. They are reminiscent of the White/Carolina XI Mid that released in 1995 and 2000, as opposed as a leather upper, it has the mesh upper from the Concord Colorway. No word on the release date for these, but look for them in 2010.
